The Midwest Energy and Sustainability Leadership Alliance (MESLA) is a partnership comprised of private, non-profit, government and academic entities with vital interests in the Midwest Energy & Sustainability sector. Founded in February 2010 by Deloitte and Northwestern University, senior-level staff from organizations in the Chicago Metropolitan area are currently represented on the growing MESLA member roster.

MESLA's mission is to strengthen the members of the Alliance and other interested parties in the areas of energy and sustainability, via communication and collaboration, and to establish the Midwest as a center for green business practices, innovation and investment, with the goal of revitalizing the Midwest Region and the organizations located here.

MESLA is a central news hub of relevant events, articles, announcements and research affecting or related to the Midwest energy and sustainability sector.
